Common sense is sooo uncommon.....
Just got back from a trip to Kol. The airport at kol was chaos and added to it the unruly passengers. How come we do not understand small little things like
1. Form a queue
2. Do not push and try to rush in --- you have checked in they wont leave you and go
3. Listen to the announcements or ask what needs to be done instead of panicking and creating confusion at the airport
4. Stand in line... do not break it... people have come in before you and get their turn first. If your flight is already boarding the airline staff will come looking, they will announce or you can request the others to let you pass and surely they will
I guess one thing we do not do is respect each other. Respect the fact that everyone has their own importance and we are not really bigger than the others. Why the rush.. ?

the news all over the channels is on racism now... how indians are facing racism in oz... today's news said that a guy from hyd was beaten up.. apparently he was asked for money and he said no and he was beaten up... let me tell you this.. this is not the case of oz alone. in south africa the guy would have been possibly killed for having resisted... and its not that they pick on indians.. they are fair to all and would do that to anyone ... !

have we ever noticed how we flock together all the time... its a group of indians sticking along going around everywhere. not that its a bad thing... we do feel at home with our own.. but when we are out in another country maybe we should make a little more effort to befriend people from there, learn some of their culture (atleast learn what we term as "good") and teach them some of ours. go out and try new stuff be it in terms of food or lifestyle and not just stick to out curd rice and pickle... what say? then maybe they might consider us one of them too..

Just noticed... life seems to be really zooming past ... its work work work and work... and is it really worth it? we work for a life.. to spend with our loved ones.. but do we really do that or do we have to wait to grow old to do that? but on the other hand.. if we want that life to be able to do what we want and what our loved ones deserve... we gotta work eh? its like "to be or not to be".. never really has an answer :) ponder on...
